Life

It never asked me whether

Or not I wanted to join the journey

It kept pulling me into something

I believed wasn’t right for me

But, somehow, it was

And then I ended up here

Where there was no one in my life

but God

At that moment, I knew

That that is all I needed

Everything I have ever desired

Was just to be with Him

Dear sweet, sweet life

Lead me to my final destination

Where no more sorrow, fear

And guilt would be wrapped into one

But rather peace, love, gratitude and joy

Would be in my heart forever

So,

When I asked life where it’s headed

It simply said:

Home.
